About the research
Between Values and Viability is a research project between UBC and Organic BC exploring how organic and ecological farming practices can help farms in British Columbia respond to extreme weather and climate challenges.
Researchers are visiting farms across the province to learn directly from farmers about their management practices, community involvement, and experiences with extreme weather. The project also examines how farmer networks and agricultural organizations may contribute to farm-level resilience.
The B.C. study is part of the broader Agroecology for Climate Resilience research project, which also includes research in Brazil, India, and Germany. Learn more about the project.
