Share Your Research at a BC Ministry of Agriculture Show!
The Ministry of Agriculture is seeking speaker recommendations for the Pacific Agriculture Show (January 21-23, 2027) and Southern Interior Horticultural Show (February 10-11, 2027).
We’re looking for practical, extension-oriented presentations that provide actionable information for horticultural producers and agribusinesses in British Columbia.
Priority topics include production practices, pest management, pollination, pruning, nutrient and water management, climate adaptation, farm business management, innovation, and market insights.
Presentations should be relevant to one or more of the following commodities:
Lower Mainland
- Potatoes
- Field vegetables
- Blueberries
- Raspberries
- Strawberries
- Greenhouse vegetables
- Hazelnuts
- Floriculture
- Nursery and landscape crops
- Organic production
Southern Interior
- Apples
- Cherries
- Grapes

We welcome recommendations for researchers, producers, industry professionals, and other experts who can share practical knowledge and solutions with BC’s horticulture sector.
Please note:
The conference topics and speakers are selected by the Ministry of Agriculture is consultation with partnering horticultural industry associations. Topic and speaker ideas are shared with industry partners for consideration, and their feedback on which topics are of interest influences the program development. Due to time constraints in the program, not all suggested topics or speakers may be able to be accommodated. If there is interest in a suggested topic, organizers will follow up to request speaker contact information.
