Climate action in agriculture is a balancing act 🌎 ⚖️

With climate change tipping the scales for agriculture, achieving resilience means both adapting to the impacts of past emissions and minimizing those of the future. And, as ACARN knows well, tackling these challenges requires a collective effort – no single group can address them alone.

Check out a new article from our Network Manager, Love-Ese Chile, PhD, highlighting how collaborative research from the Organic Science Cluster 4 (OSC4) is tackling the challenge head-on. Across Western Canada, several projects are uniting producers, researchers, and industry groups to help farmers respond to climate change by exploring farm practices that reduce emissions, sequester carbon, and foster biodiversity.
